THE frost RING

Set on each shoulder of the ring are 14 diamonds to celebrate when they met. Hand-carved after the last diamond is the exact brick found at the Frost Library at Amherst College, where he found the courage to first speak to her. The prongs are inspired by the Church of St. Gregory’s in Pennsylvania, her family church, highlighting her connection to her faith. There are four gemstones set on the inside of her engagement ring, each signifying a major milestone. The gemstones frame the inscription “When you place your hand in mine” from a song that he wrote to her years ago. The inscription is in handwriting. Carved on the side profile is the image of a lily, one of her favorite flowers which he has given to her throughout their relationship.
