THe silver fern ring
She wanted something timeless and classic, but with a twist. We selected this magnificent gemstone and framed it with colorless white diamonds to set off the striking shade of blue. And of course, look closely and their story unfolds...Eleven round brilliant diamonds are set on each shoulder to represent 2011, when their story began. After the last diamond is a carving of a New Zealand silver fern, to remind her of where she was born in Auckland, New Zealand. The prongs are gently inspired by the Thailand Botanical Gardens, representing their love for adventure and travel, something which attracted them instantly. The gemstones inside the band each highlight a milestone they shared together: when they met at Cal Pali San Luis Obispo, when he told her that he loved her during a picnic on the beach, when they moved to New York City together and finally, the proposal.
